i had a E-1 and really enjoyed it until I bought the GTR.

Edition 1--375 vehicles built

All of the US delivery cars were Selenite Gray and there were no customer elected options.

There were other colors in Europe and other continents.

I hope this helps.

Regards

Jerry

I had one as well and was told each MB dealer in the USA received one. Can’t remember how many dealers but somewhere in the 300 range I think.

Do you think at any point the GTS edition 1 will become a collectible or will appreciate over time given its such low production numbers?

Not likely.

Quote: Not likely.
Unfortunately, this is most likely a true statement. Most edition 1's fall into obscurity, where's the S63 coupe edition 1? Those were over 200k new, G63, etc.. same with all the other edition 1's. Most people don't know what they are, and the ones that do won't pay for it until the car is old and everyone wants the rare models/specs.

Hi Guys,

Are you OK to constitute a EXCEL folder, registering our EDITION1 chassis number ? Production number ? Location ? Color ? Country ? Pano options ?
I could organise that (I asked that on the Facebook owner group, but no answer.)

Using lastvin.com , We can easilly start here :

Gribouilly / WMX1903781A003479 / Manufactured : 2015-06-02 / Delivered : 2015-06-18 / Color : SELENITE GRAY (297U) / Country :Germany imported to France / Option Pano roof (416)

So in your opinion what are the rare models/specs's in the GT line up that will most likely appreciate going forward.

The Pro is a limited one year production model with only 150 released to the U.S.

Currently 402. When the GTS Edition 1 was launched I believe it was in the 390's.

Hi Jerry - You seem to know a lot about this car. I have one and am thinking of upgrading the exhaust. Any recommendations? I don't want anything too severe, just a little louder.
Also, any recommendations for a steering wheel replacement? I can't find a manufacturer for that year.

Use the standard AMG GTS as a spec for exhaust changes.

The uniqueness of the E-1 was/is the add on accessories from the factory. There were NO add/deletes to the E-1 spec interior or exterior all for a $144k fixed price US.

Here’s mine from a long time ago…..

Also, Here’s some early Weistec numbers on their ECU upgrade. You may want to check with them.

Best regards

Love it. Looks like you purchased it new?!

I don't want to stage the car, just to change out the exhaust. Maybe I don't know that much about this stuff. Do you need a tune if you upgrade the exhaust?

Thanks!

It’s highly recommended if you remove the “cats”.

Contact Weistec or Renntech and discuss your wish list with them. Both are very reputable and have various packages you can select from.
