GT S maintenance costs for one year?

What all season tires do you have on the car. My car is a daily driver and I have no plans to track it. Do you notice a big difference in grip on the road in town and on the highway?

This is great, thanks for sharing. Essentially could save you 50%. Does anyone have experience with any of these aftermarket rotors? I want to be sure this isn’t a “you get what you pay for” scenario. Ideally the OEM rotors are just stupid expensive and any of these options would work. I am planning to take my gts on track once or twice (def not going hard on it though. Just to experience it on track)
For the one piece Brembo rear rotors, I expect good quality as they were the original equipment on the AMG GT (not s). If you've never been on track before, I'm doubt you'll be fast enough to overwhelm these rear rotors.
I know GiroDisc and RacingBrake are track-focused companies that track rats often turn to for braking upgrades. I don't have any first hand experience, but I think they would be similar in quality and performance to the original Brembos.

I know right, I haven’t really been doing my research yet as I probably won’t get them until next month. But, have you used the website FCP euro before? Apparently they have a program where you can buy wearable items like brakes/rotors, use them up and send them back and they send you new ones. No, I don’t know how they make money like that but apparently it’s their guarantee. I was debating buying the OEM brake kit from them, it includes 2 rotors and pads for 2500$. But, if this program is true than I could use up these rotors and pads, send them back and get new ones after a couple track days/ auto crosses.

I don't mean to be disrespectful or flippant, but this thread reminds me of something J.P. Morgan said when he was asked how much the upkeep was on his yacht. "If you have to ask how much it costs, you can't afford it."
These cars are not cheap, nor is their proper upkeep or parts. People on tight budgets (I'm not suggesting the OP here is), should stay away from them.

I see no issue with outlining, discussing, and knowing the maint costs of an asset prior to purchase. In fact, I think that any intelligent individual should do their due diligence and know these things beforehand. Even if I had a never ending supply of funds I'd want to know these things prior to buying something.

My main point in starting this thread was to openly discuss the running costs of the GT S. I was curious to see if other owners had similar costs. I thought potential buyers might benefit from our open discussion, too. :-)

My GTS got a solid 30degrees sideways as I was just yielding out onto a road and passing a lower speed yielder. I'm sure they thought I was showing off. Made me check my rear tires. The rears are done. I was happy with my deal from Discount Tire for a full set of Michelin PSS (wonder if they'll be old stock PSS or PS4S I assume) for $1566 total. Prior to this expense I only had one Mercedes service with oil change so far and I've nearly owned my car a year.

Tires is my biggest cost by far! I've gone through 2 sets in two years, oops A distant second is oil/fluid changes which I do myself

I don't criticize those who want to know maintenance costs. All I wanted to say was -- it's going to be expensive. Obviously, owning a car is different from owning a yacht, especially of the size of the JP Morgans, the Corsairs (I through IV). Junior's was, at the time, the largest superyacht in the world, and still pretty impressive. https://www.pinnaclemarine.co.nz/art...corsair-iv.php. (It eventually sank.)
