Another GT
Last night I traded in my Audi e-tron for an e-tron GT. So I now have two GTs in the garage.
The Audi came in "tactical green" which is a horrendous color so I am having it wrapped in a color as close to Audi's ultra blue as possible. I wouldn't have acquired the car if I couldn't wrap it.
The two GTs each have 469 HP but the Audi, despite weighing 1500 lbs more, feels quicker. Nevertheless, the 0-60 times are also identical.
The advantage of driving the Audi is that it has 4 seats. It's also a little less "look at me!" ("Oh, is that the new Hyundai?") It's best not to flaunt one's wealth in L.A. these days.

I can do one better, my garage is currently a AMG GTC, Macan GTS and Golf GTI all by pure coincidence 😂 oh and also they are all 7 speed double clutch transmissions! DTC, PDK, DSG

Here are before photos. Audi calls it "tactical green." I call it "puss green."

If Scotts happy I’m happy.
However, I was hoping for the new MB-E Announcement and review.

I got close on the EQS 580 but in addition to the grand slam on the price* ($5k over MSRP) they diddled me on the money factor on the lease. And had the gall to lie and tell me the MF was locked in. There is always a bit of leeway for extra vig for the dealership.
(It was a Mercedes dealership I almost bought, with a group of client-investors, 25+ years ago.)
What with all German car companies closing down during the Russia-Ukraine War, and higher interest rates on the horizon, I figured I had better move now and got an excellent deal under the circumstances.

Hi Scott,
Nice car with an interesting color...I was looking at the E-tron myself.
This will be a little difficult to wrap BC of the color, but I'm sure it'll work out for you..
Best,
Acta

Thats a pretty sad commentary about California. We have a home in Laguna Beach that we judiciously rent but I don't like going there anymore.
I say leave it, it does match the house well, lol

I’ll be buying out the lease on my ‘19 etron soon as there is a ton of equity in it. Just need more choices to be available and the market not to be so damn broken!

I don't know yet. I haven't done the twisties from my house to PCH yet. It seems quick and goes into the turns well with neutral steering, but it's 1500 lbs. heavier than the Mercedes, so I suspect I will reach its (my) limits a lot sooner. Braking is a bit of a chore. You can definitely feel the extra weight there.

I am looking at an Audi RS7 for my practical car- And you are correct that green is really bad. I don't get them doing that at all.

Color correction in progress.
(Talking to the salesman yesterday, he admitted I got a good deal because the interior leather in a bluish grey didn't match the pus green exterior. Dealers in my area are typically adding between $10 and $30 K as ADM.)

I insisted on the door jambs. I wanted any part that could be exposed (including inner boot/trunk and hood/frunk) to be covered. It's been in for 10 days as of today. I hope to have it back by Friday.

Why don't you just put the money in to a respray? With the cost of a full wrap and the fact that a wrap is a temporary thing seems like your bargain is not a bargain. What will happen when it comes time to sell it and the perspective buyer doesn't like the so called "Pus Green" paint?
