They were actually configured with GTR offsets on the front wheels, so no, you would not need spacers for GTR to "Make them look right". .
Your photos arent a GTR. Since the GTC and GTR are a different wheel set up in the front, maybe grab the offsets and post (if you did already - sorry, didn't see them on a quick scan). Wheels Boutique may not want to give that information to you, but HRE with your serial number in hand sure will!
My guess is if they fit both, they were probably cut to stock spec GTR wheels (you suggest as much in your last response)...maybe a mm or 2 more. It means that an owner with a GTR to get a flush fit to the fender would need to run a spacer - not a biggie, but factually different from your claim that "they are the same". They aren't.
Really you are lucky to have a wider audience. HRE tends to run conservative offsets. If these were AG's or Anrky Wheels and cut for a GTR, like you are saying, they wouldn't fit a GT, GTS, or GTC. They would ONLY fit a GTR.
I ran the numbers vs stock GTR wheel offset and tire sizes and the results are below, the front wheels I have actually come out 3mm further than a stock GTR wheel setup. So yes, the custom wheel setup I have will work on a GTR and actually come out a whopping 3mm further than stock GTR wheel. It also works perfectly on a GTC, zero rubbing issues even at high speeds on Bristol Motor Speedway of Nascar fame... If it doesn't rub there it will not rub anywhere...

Looks so good, pleasure to do business with you. Happy that someone else will get to enjoy these great wheels/tires/wing on their AMG GTC, really changes the car and give it the head turning factor. The extra traction is a bonus as well.
