Luckily no one was seriously injured. I hate to agree but the GTs died to save my life. I never even saw him comin. The hit was something else…it was surreal like did this just happen to me….I appreciate everyone’s concern for my well being, thank you…3rd Benz and 2nd AMG, time to start over again

Did the MB do a good job of protecting you personally?

From the pictures it looks like the front end got most of the impact and the cabin was spared.

I’m guessing the car is a total loss unfortunately.

Best wishes for a rapid recovery and solution.

What happened to the other driver? Drunks seem to escape serious injury.

Wow. Assuming you are OK physically?!? That hurts to look at for multiple reasons. As my grandmother said to my father and my father said to me under similar circumstances, "If no one got hurt, then it's not a problem. It's just a car and we can get another one." I was in a similar accident (subaru not GT). The second day after the accident I could not get off the couch by myself because of the pain. Those airbags will save your life but riding one is like being beaten by a 2x4.

I was not normal for weeks. I hope your recovery was easier.
