2016 AMG GTS Edition 1
I have a GTS but to give you an idea I paid $6500 for a full xpel stealth wrap. Compared it to 3 other companies that were about $6200-7000. Live in NJ too.

I would check with the wrapper if you plan on going through the car wash. Stay away from detailers who use a pressure washer unless they are familiar with wraps and know to stay away from the edges.
After waiting about 2 weeks, I have been running my G63 through the car wash for about a year now and it hasn’t hurt the XPEL clear wrap at all.

You should get that info from your installer to be certain.
The general rule is 72 hours with mild/moderate air temps, but if it is cold, then more like 7 days.
You should also be asking them what products they recommend to use. There are a few PH neutral soaps on the market that lend themselves to washing wraps, but here again, the installer should know the wrap material the best.

Scott, a ‘Wrap’ is normally a very different product than actual PPF since wraps are much thinner, (2-3 mil?) making them easier to apply but far more easy to damage than actual PPF which runs from around 6-8 mil. I would be incredibly worried about any high pressure spray situation unless my installer explicitly stated that the ‘wrap’ was designed to handle it and it was in writing.
