Subscribed. I want to know also. I'm wondering if I can get the Pro fender liners and then use those in my GTR fenders, cut the fenders and add vents to mine...
Mine came in today. They are at my office so I haven’t got to put my eyes on them yet.
That’s what these are for. You can use your regular liners and make them usable with the fender vents. I have a 2016 GTS.
Guys, when I have looked at the inside of the pro fender liners, they look different from the standard fender liner because they seem to hook up directly with the fender vents. Am I wrong on that? It seems to me that if we just cut our standard fenders and drop the vents into place we are still going to have liners that do not except any kind of attachment or flow because they are not recessed or cut out in anyway. Thoughts?
Okay so if we just cut the top of the fender and drop the Pro fender vent in place that’s not enough right? The liner seems like it has little tabs or something where the fender vents attach?
This is the piece that Renntech sells. Very well made and almost looks OEM. To use this, you will need to use Renntech’s louvers unless you cut the tabs off other manufacturers louvers. I’m sure tab holes could be cut into the fender and these adapters to fit as well. You also cut into the OEM fender liners so these are actually working. This setup is very similar to the GTR Pro but causes ulcers knowing you have to cut into fenders. Lol.

What I was thinking about doing was going with the APR carbon fiber vents because (from what I've seen so far anyway) they appear to be a VERY close match to OEM in terms of their shape and look. My car has all the carbon exterior packages so I think they would look in place. If I run the APR vents, then I won't be able to use the Renntech inner liners without modifying them a bit is what you're saying? I wonder if it would be cheaper/easier to just get the MBZ liners so that matching up with vents other than the Renntech ones will be easier? I wish I could find a complete Green Hell Magno Pro that's been backed into a wall and totaled so that I could just buy the entire front bumper along with the complete matching front fenders and be done with it!!!!!
