I’ve tried to search this before but have come up short. Have you been able to increase the whine of your super charger? In my GTS, I can hear it whine just a bit but was thinking it would sound even better if the whine was a bit louder. Perhaps a cold air intake or so could help? Not sure what causes the whine

Metal intake pipes for sure , you already have a cold air intake .

Don't put on a so called performance air filter with their poor filtration .

These superchargers are easy to modify for sound. Remove both air boxes and clamp playing cards at front of intake plenum. Night and day difference!

God forbid, don't ruin one of the best factory cold air intakes out there, capable of supporting over 1000hp with some of the aftermarket crap that's being sold. It proves that the most powerful force in the universe is marketing. Not going to bite on the SC....LOL....

Addressing the subject of supercharger whine as a sole/separate question, the gearing in a SC determines whether it will whine or not.

The Vortech centrifugal series is a good example of that.

The Vortech V1 is a straight gear centrifugal SC and it is sold primarily for the whine; whereas the V2/V3s have helical gears and do not whine. I did one install of a V1 on a Mustang and it definitely screamed at you. I've done several V3s (one of which was my C6 with an LS3) and they're quiet as church mice.
