Transmission oil leak. Dealer will not agree that its leak
Hello… i have 2016 amg gts which mbusa has issued transmission warranty for the leak. I noticed that my transmission is leaking which made my amg to go on limp mode and get transmission pressure sensor code pop up when i make hard left turn due to low oil level.
now i took it to dealer in southbay mercedes in torrance, ca so i can get it worked on by extended factory warranty but theyare not being cooperative and even told me i have to replace under my own money. Here is the picture of the mercedes service bulletin board and obviously its where my tranny is leaking. What are your thoughts??

You know, it would be really helpful if everyone here would post where in the world they are. Can you provide in writing how the dealership responded? If they haven’t, request a formal response.
Looks like ventilation area was “wiped” clean.

Im from Los Angeles and the dealership was mercedes southbay in torrance. i added on the OP! thanks!! and yeahr seems like so!
possibility is the dealer not knowledgeable to Mercedes providing POST warranty coverage on this specific concern.
suggestion - as a 2016 your car is out of factory warranty, instead of saying “its warranty” to the dealer, have them run your VIN, searching for open campaigns and TSB’s related to the specific issue you are having, while they are doing that, explain to them Mercedes offered extended coverage on this specific known concern, that’s what you are referring to.
Since it looks like you have all your documents in order, if the above doesn’t help them, find a dealer that would like the work, as it sounds like the one you are dealing with has so much service revenue coming in they don’t want to be bothered with more LOL.

thank u for reply! Yeah u think theyre just lazy and not want to deal with it? So dealer does know about warranty but not sure if they know about service bulletin but i did send them images and everything but nothing yet from them. She did say that only leak is the reason for extended warranty work but she said the mechanic didnt find any leak which obv is not true haha…
You should take it to a different dealer. I've had horrible service from one dealer and wonderful service from another just a few miles away. It's all about the individuals involved and whether they care. Find someone who cares.
I believed him when he said it was leaking and this seems to support that "limp mode and get transmission pressure sensor code pop up." Either way, I would still take it to a second dealer for a second opinion.
