Fuel Smell / Vent Hose Replacement
I noticed that on several occasions after driving my 2018 GTC I would have a fuel smell in the garage, pretty strong. After doing some research I found a bulletin that addresses this issue. Apparently the original vent hoses are somewhat porous and allow vapor to escape causing the fuel smell. I've attached what I found and the pics of the parts that need to be replaced. I can buy the hoses for about $160 all in. My question is has anyone replaced this themselves, or can anyone give me any insight into how difficult this is to do yourself. It's really more about convenience than anything, I struggle to find the time to get my car to a dealer. Thanks for any input!

ordered mine from yourmercedesparts.com
The process is simple, just 4 star bit bolt on the sides of the heads(2 each side) to remove the whole hose assembly plus maybe pliers to squeeze the clamps to release the hoses where needed. Just assemble the new ones out of the car and reinstall the same routing as the old one was.
