Hi, Answer you here. This might help someone with the same problem. Better than PM. According to the EPC, this part cannot be delivered alone. The E-Bay part you showed seems to be a weight detection mat. I don't know if this works on the GTR with bucket seat control unit (I don't think so)It's useless on its own, you also need the control unit. What do you want to do exactly?Do you need / want other upholstery? I also had my Recaro seats reupholstered with fabric. The bottom, side panels remained. Likewise, the foam cushions. On the passenger side also the stock hole AKSE mat with control unit. The cover is easy to remove. It's completely climbed. You only have to cut through the thread of the middle seam.Cut out the Dynamica seat surface at the seams. (Top 1:1 Pattern) Replace with Desired fabric, leather, Gold, Myrrh, Frankincense........:-) Finished. In addition, inflatable lumbar supports on the stock lumbar wedges under the backrests. Because seat heating is not available from the factory with the recaro bucket seats. Also 4 x carbon mats, for that. Works great. Were sewn by AKSE Matte and the upholstery with the fabric. Hey Best regards Stenzel
can you tell me how you take off the base cushion? It seems to be connected at the bottom under the seat? Once you pull it off the velcro it seems like it's glued or zipped? I don't just want to rip it off....
Regards

Hi DarkknightgGTR,
It's just a kind of "edge protection" on the upholstery, hooked into a "lip" on the seat.
Simply pull down toward the floor.
As long as you don't act like Goodzilla, you can't break anything. :-)
Maybe after the action the bar is too loose.
Metal clips are incorporated into the "edge protection".
If you bend them "open" when removing, simply bend them back.
Best regards
Stenzel
