Black Series OEM Roll Bar - Composition? Fitment?
BS OEM Roll Bar - is it Titanium alloy, or Chromoly/DOM Steel?

Anyone know MB Part #, and whether it can also fit the GT R?

Yours is for GT R, correct? And it is Titanium? Weight?

I've seen the one at Mercteil, only for GT R and Pro: https://mercteil.com/amg-gt-r-pro-cl...retrofit-r13BP
But no confirmation of metal composition for the GT R bar.
Wondering how the GT R bar differs from the BS bar.

Hi,

Stock GTR is made of steel. Heavier, but cheaper.

The offered Merc part is steel. In titan it would be more expensive.

GTR-Pro and GT BS was titanium.

I would need a VIN from a country that allowed it to be spec'd. From what I can see, the NA cars didnt come with it even as an option. I looked through all of the diagrams too and couldnt even see it within and greyed out from being selected.

Found the Black Series Titanium Roll Bar Part #: A1908603700

Now if only to confirm fitment to regular GT R or Pro. . .

Im surprised that its not titanium, it was extremely light

fitment should be the same for black series or the GTR right?

Hi MBNRG,

Yes, have the factory installed GTR steel roll cage.

Titanium fits all GT. The shape is the same.

All of them fit 2018 GTC? Can’t see there would be any differences in mounting points on chassis, only thing is maybe the headliner?
