rear wheel steering
Looking to get into a GT, and pondering the GTS or GTC. Just a couple questions about the rear wheel steering of the GTC
Is rear wheel steering standard or optional (I'm going to be in the 2018-2019 year)
are there issues with the rear wheel steering? I've never seen a rear wheel steer car in person, but I assume there are similar parts to a front wheel steer assembly, and these parts will naturally require replacement. To me the draw of the GTC is the engine and wider rear end, the rear steering is not important i'd hate for it to become an annoyance if its causing issues or becomes another part to fix...
and just a bit iff topic I Understand the engine is a bit different, is it simplay the GTC getting bigger turbos?

As to the rear wheel steering, I believe it was standard on the GTC's. I quite like it and hadn't considered the repair cost when I purchased my GTC. RAS is just one of many potentially expensive repairs this vehicle could need.
3rd party warranties seem to be controversial to some, but on a car like this, I'd say it's worth the cost as one large repair could pay for itself.
Good luck with your search!

Back to RWS: it’s great! Have not heard of any issues. It’s two electric actuators, one at each rear wheel. They look easy to access and not expensive to replace.
vs. The GT/GTS, the GTC shares the larger turbos and the transmission gear ratios of the GTR.

I would rather not mess with the front suspension by adding what must be aftermarket air bladders. But that’s just me.
After installing the HK lift I have had one brush at the rear. The HK kit is german high quality, designed for our cars and has caused no change in handling. I just ordered a 911 and it includes a lift as well...this is required around here. My former (just sold) Shelby Cobra used to scrape too.
