1:31.0 PB at Laguna Seca yesterday.
Pretty stoked about how the season is progressing. My goal is a 1:29.9 for the year. Yesterday was a good day. Lots of fast drivers and cars. First session got a 1:31.8 with passes. Second session was on a 1:29 but hit traffic. Optimal lap was a 1:29.6. Too much traffic in the earlier faster sessions of the day. Had to settle for a 1:31.08 official PB. Quality is bad. Windshield is so chipped up camera focuses on it more. New one going in today.

19s. 300 front and 330 rear. Their sizing is whacked.the 330 is way wider than Nankang CRS or Hoosier A7 325s. The 300 is an inch narrower than A7 295 🤷♂️. So the front was way narrow. They offer a 310 I can use for front but not sure if I’ll use these again. They are great don’t get me wrong but 3600 for a set. While they don’t balance as well or feel quite as good I can get about the same times with 2400 set of A7. Drove them to the track like I do all my tires. They did great. 50 miles. Had some drizzle on the way there but roads stayed dry enough. They felt perfectly fine.
Pirelli DH slicks come in the following 19” sizes:
235/645-19
255/650-19
275/675-19
295/680-19
305/690-19
325/705-19

How have the driving dynamics changed (if at all) after installation of the louvers? More specifically, have they tangibly helped understeer? At Buttonwillow, I notice that I understeer around the high-speed (~100mph) sweeper and I've been flip flopping between louvers or canards.

What 19s wheels did you get? Also, did you notice a large improvement when you got the Tikt front splitter? I'll probably see you at the Litespeed LS event on 4/14. I'll probably be driving the M3, as I spent a good chunk of time on PPF and Android auto on the GTR, and made zero progress in getting it track ready.

I know a 19x11 works in front, but can’t get anything that makes me confident in rears…..street wheels with 20 or 21 rears and skinny tires i know can go 13” wide on GTR….

pretty impressive. Pro driver my car would run similar times. Track is a bit faster since repave. 1-1.5 seconds. I was on some 29s earlier in the day before hitting traffic near end of laps. Goal is 28.9 for this season. I’d be thrilled with official 29 honestly.
