GT Coupe vs Roadster?

Hi, I'm in the market for a GTC. For people who have owned/driven both the coupe and roadster, is there a slightly smaller cockpit in the roadster? I'm definitely more of a coupe guy, but there are WAY more cherry, low miles, roadsters for sale at this point. I'm very tall, and when I drove the coupe, I definitely had the seat run all the way back and down, so I was wondering if there is any sacrifice in cabin size by going to the roadster? The roadsters look great, no doubt, but I know 95% of the time my roof would be up. Thanks in advance for any insights. I did do a search and didn't find anything relevant that came up.

I had a 2018 roadster because the convertibles weren't out yet. In 2020 I bought a convertible. I have never been happier. The interior dimensions appear to be the same, and the convertible top closes tight and secure. Wind noise is negligible.

Test drove a Roadster first, bought the coupe. I don't think there's any interior size difference. I also think you see more GTC Roadsters because they made more of them than the coupe.

Thanks guys. Right now I would guess there are 10 or 12 roadsters for sale, for every coupe on CarGurus and Autotrader. At least now I know I will fit in it OK if I can't find the right coupe. We had a 911 cab for quite a while and pretty much the roof was up when I drove it. I'm in PA and it's not too often that it's not too hot, too cold, or too humid! I'll keep an eye out for a roadster in the region to test drive.

We don't have the Huracan issue of the Roadster being smaller inside than the coupe. I have had both as well and have no issues. Overall top up, the Roadster is quieter as there isn't that open hatch behind you for noise to bounce around in.

Hey OldFart (btw that is what they are starting to call me lol). You didn't mention your specific height. But I may be your perfect "test dummy". I am 6.4" and about 300 lbs. I test drove (and raced) the coupe a number of times. One time with a helmet (so that didn't really count). Like others mentioned the coupe does have enough head room with the seat all the way to the floor. I bought my 2020 GTC roadster last year. I already liked verts so a little biased. With the top up head room is fine. Obviously with it down head room is infinity One thing the vert has over the coupe is getting in an out. With top down you don't have to worry about that "head duck". I leave mine down almost all year (live in Arizona) and just put a car cover on the interior space to keep out dust and bugs. Where I run into comfort issues is with the seat width. Prob due to my fat **** Working on that one lol. I would say if you are between 180-240 lbs the width of the seat likely not an issue. Others mentioned the road noise. It can be a little more noise with those top mechanisms. But you don't buy a GT for the quiet ride

Thanks for your input. I'm 6'4 also, with a 35" inseam, so a lot of leg length. I'm only 190 so that part is easy. It's bad enough being tall and having size 14 feet!

Both cars are great and look amazing. Only one lets you see the sky and feel the wind in your hair.
