Really ... it's likely not been a big seller, for them. Presumably because that model has the "plug into the ECU connector" design, they're priced too high, IMO. I'd pay what one for a C43 or C63 costs, but not about double that. Guess it's that bit of Scottish blood in me.

Having tested a Racechip in our C63s a few years ago, I would not put one anywhere near a GTR. Do it properly and get a tune! All the best. Originally Posted by user33

I knew we had something else in common.
I have English and Scottish ancestors.

I like the Racechip products because:
- I've run one (always on) for almost 8 years with zero issues
- it leaves all the normal ECU-based engine protection algorithms/settings in place ... something that may no longer be true with an ECU tune (you never know exactly what some hack has done ... though I do believe that there are some who do superb work)
- I like the response curves available and am never looking for the maximum HP ... I like to stay within reasonable-wear performance limits
- I don't want someone messing with my ECU and causing problems (read posts and you'll see that lots of people have issues after "tunes")
- I can easily and quickly tailor (via a phone app) or remove (via a bypass connector or uninstall) the Racechip's effects at any time
- it's a product produced in Germany by people who know AMGs
I've seen a lot of Racechip bashing over the years, mostly by people who've never run one, but my experiences have been stellar ... which is why I'm "ready to go again" at the right price.

"A "post" on a forum is a user-submitted message or entry that is displayed as a distinct block within a thread or topic. It typically includes the user's details (username, profile picture), the date and time it was submitted, and the actual content of the message. Users can often edit or delete their own posts. "
"On an online forum, a "thread" refers to a specific discussion or conversation within a forum topic. It's a collection of posts, starting with an initial message and including all the replies to that message. Think of it as a single, focused discussion within a larger forum"

You were referring to my post (it clearly says posted by). I guess it's true what they say about Aussies.Originally Posted by ZAC MOTORSPORT

No I wasn't. I was referring to this thread. Hence why I wrote "thread". And our massive appendages have nothing to do with this. Not sure why you would bring that up :POriginally Posted by sevenhead

Well you quoted my post when you could have simply posted your comment.
Yes, Aussies are delusional and have terrible grating accents. :>). You can't help yourselves with all that blood rushing to your head.

Post haste, trying to thread the needle, here, ... it's all good but I'm sure I've seen better content on this forum ... in some threads ... posted ... in many posts ... by various posters.

My apologies user33. At least I didn't go Postal, and it kept the thread at the top of the pile. Originally Posted by user33

Sorry, keep forgetting to include the quote.
Didn't know you were in Canada until you mentioned Mission which I recognized as a race track used by vintage racers.
I'm just 1300 miles (2092 km) south of you.
