2016 AMG GT S Li Ion Battery
Hi all,
I special ordered a battery from the Mercedes dealer who ordered it from Germany, non-refundable, only to discover my car only needed a jump start and the original battery is doing fine. I have a 2016 AMG GT S, but I'm sure this battery is compatible with other GT's. Does anyone need a battery? I'm looking to sell it so I can get my money back. The battery is located at Mercedes Boundary in Vancouver, BC, Canada.

Did dealer tell you the vehicle needed a new battery? If so, and you have proof, it’s definitely refundable!!
On the other hand, you live in Vancouver and drive a GT S, why not just replace the 10 year old battery? Coffee and a sandwich costs more than the battery in Vancouver

Jokes aside it wouldn’t hurt, your current battery is 10 years old and you let it deplete to the point of needing a jump. Older lithiums, and newer to be fair, do not like being completely drained of charge. Especially if it was sitting for an extended period of time without charge.
If you’re dead set on selling it and don’t get any offers within a couple weeks, I’d put it on a trickle charger personally. Some pics of the battery in new condition and on a trickle will help with resale if you don’t get any interested buyers from this site.
