good info, I ran into this last year, and was very happy it was still covered under warranty (same day replacement too with S class loaner)
the downside is that they only replace the one that fails instead of updating all to new parts, which means if all 4 decide to crap out at separate times, thats 4 trips to the dealer

That’s interesting, because the issue stems from a manufacturing defect, which in theory would affect all four components. So it does raise the question, why not replace all four? (Just a rhetorical question.)
