Crevice residue

How do you all deal with residue from waxing/polishing that gets on plastic/rubber parts (such as around sunroof/headlights) and in crevices?

It's too bad you have to deal with that issue in the first place. You might want to ty Klasse products as this is not a problem at all. However, answering your question... try peanut butter. I swear it works. Must be the oils.
Hope this helps.

So when you apply the Klasse and it gets in a crevice, like along the horizontal moldings along the doors and side body panels, and it dries, it doesn't leave a white residue?

well if getting it on the trim is a problem, you should probably try to tape off the corners before applying wax. and yes, peanut butter is good at removing excess wax from trim. but it must be the regular creamy peanut butter. if you don't have that and have some peanut oil laying around, then use that. apply onto a microfiber towel and spread evenly and work it in. let it sit for 15 minutes then remove with a good wash. dont' leave the product on as bugs will attract to it. good luck removing it!!

Use Groit’s or Eastwoods Dried-on Wax Remover. These products are specially formulated to dissolve dried wax so you can easily wipe it away. Easy to use dispenser keeps the remover solution where you want it. Safe for vehicle finishes on plastic or rubber.

I am not sure what brand of wax you are using or how hard it is to get rid of residue, I use Zaino on my car and the white residues can be wiped off with a 100% cotton towel very easily.

it also depends on how well maintained the trim is, how new/old it is, average temperature, the type of trim, and also the wax. not everything is the same. luckily yours is easy to remove.

The secret is the brand of wax, really that's it, in my case zaino which is designed to be wiped off of paint and plastic trims very easily despite temperature and condition of car. I've noticed some white residues between the door and pillars about a week after I applied it and it still wipes off cleanly.

well then if its easily removed off the trim, then it will most likely be easily removed from the paint.....

Crevice Residue

Does Zaino contain any silicone or is it carnauba?
