help with spots!

so this is the second time ive washed my black car and again i keep getting spots after it dries. i have allways been using the mr. clean auto dry stuff and now for some reason it leaves spots on this car. so i then dried it normally by hand but i still get spots... the dealer put this teflon coating on it to help prevent swirls and maybe thats why but now i dont know what to do.. i dont feel like waxing my car every time i wash it to get the spots out...

Water Spots:
There are two categories of water spots;
a) Surface water spots-alkaline watermarks (water spots) are calcium and magnesium salts that deposit on the surface after the water has evaporated, the minute crystals bond to the surface and are not re-dissolvable in water. Rainwater also contains alkaline minerals that alight on the paint film surface and as the water evaporates leave white `water spots' on both the paint and glass surfaces.

b) Below surface (etched) water spots- are caused by acid rain or industrial fallout causing a chemical reaction, if left for any length of time they will etch the paint film surface leaving a concave circular mark.
Etched water spots are one of the most difficult paint defects to remove so be patient as it will probably take more then one attempt to remove them.

Those don't look that much like water spots. Are they above the clearcoat or under it?

They look weird. Water spots would be whitish. Try the vinegar in an inconspicuous place. After all, it is a chemical reaction!

Here's a tip that just hit me.
On your camera, don't take it so close, just get a few more inches away and enable Macro mode as well.

Get yourself some clay and lube. Wax is a coating, not a cleaner.

Waxing won't really remove it, unless it's a polish.

Before you do anything else, use a Windex that is designed to remove water spots. It is a clear bottle labeled Windex with Vinegar. Waxing or claying does not remove water spots.

Windex is BAD for your paint! Don't do it!

Yes WAX will not remove water spots but clay bar will get them almost all the time.
