I used the wool pad(most agressive) and meguiars dual action cleaner polish on this 1999 Nissan Maxima with 170 thousand miles that i detailed today. 1/2 of the car was repainted, the other half was factory paint. This paint was run through automatic car washes with brushes its whole life. Here is a close up of the passanger side door. It is really swirled, does this look like any of your cars?

This is after i used the wool pad on speed 5 for about 5 minutes per section using meguiars dual action cleaner polish. This is the exact same door in the exact same spot. It is still somewhat scractched but it is significantly reduced!

Hey AlBoston! Your skills in car-detailing is just amazing. I'm astonished every time you post a pic of a car you've laid your hands on! You don't have any plans in visiting Sweden soon? I have an old Ford that is in desperate need of serious detailing (+ my Benz needs to get rid of some paint-chips)

You did a great job.
I gotta get myself a PC. A question though.... If you can get rid of most of the swirl marks with something like Meguiars Dual Action Cleaner/Polish or 3M FI-II, what's the point of their swirl removers (3M SMR, Meguiars #9 2.0) because you removed a lot of the swirls without using any of those products.
