what Zaino to get?
hello, about 7 mo. ago i posted about what zaino products i should get. but now i cant find it (the thread)
so, here i am posting again.
what should i get.
my car is red, and i have tan int.
oh, and i would like to spend ~50 bucks if i can

Yes , you should hand apply it unless you are highly skilled with a buffer.

It is not color biased.I WOULD highly recommend doing any light colored vehicle in complete shade ( yes , this product can be applied in sunlight ).When you use it on a black car you will be truly amazed - if this is your first time , remember to wash the car with DAWN first.Now that you have all this information you are bound by law to post pics.

Also, as with everything, the prep is the most important part in any good detail job. If the surface of your car needs to be clayed and you skip this step, you will not get a great result. Remember, with Zaino, you are paying a little bit more to get a result. If you can get the same result for less, then you should go for it.

Hi, i was wondering about what products to purchase for zaino as well. I have a obsidian black clk 500. For the most part i have alot of meguirs waxes, detail sprays, and even a bottle of mother's polymer polish. I hand wash my car ever week. I know this might sound stupid, but how does the clay bar work? and why use dawn (dishwashing soap or other) for washing, because my car only gets dust from school parking areas and gravels roads to soccer fields i tend to use a soft soap unless its muddy then i go with deep crystal.

# 2 ) Dawn is acidic and removes all previous coats of wax.Use it before and after you clay bar.
# 3 ) Use Zaino Z7 car wash after you applied the Zaino.This carwash soap
has no adverse effects on the Zaino polish.

Dawn is used to strip off any old waxes, dirt, crime, grease, etc. It is a way to prep your car to be detailed. It is NOT a process that you should do regularly. Regular washing should be done with a good quality car wash soap.
Your Mequires products, for the most part, will not work with Zaino.
My suggestion for Zaino products:
Minimum: Z7 (car wash), Z2 (polish) XFX (accelerator).
To really take advantage of Zaino though, I would add:
Z18 (Clay bar), Z6 (Enhancer Spray), Z8 (Finale Spray), and Z16 (Tire Gloss).
For the inside, I would recommend:
Z9 (Leather Cleaner) and Z10 (Leather Conditioner).
I find that I go through the Car Wash rather fast, so you might want to order a few bottles. Ditto on the Z6.
