Bet if you give Zaino's a try you will be pleased. Awsum stuff on silver and I would bet there are folks with black that will tell you the same.

Isopropyl alcohol (IPA)

Wash and tthen clean the paint surface with Isopropyl alcohol (IPA) also known as isopropanol, or rubbing alcohol contains 70% isopropyl alcohol, is a colourless liquid with a pleasant odour. It is highly flammable and is found in alcohol sponges, cleaning agents, and rubbing alcohol (although some rubbing alcohols contain ethanol) and is a good disinfectant.
Isopropyl alcohol (IPA)
Used in various dilutions it is used for removing adhesive residue, as a solvent for petroleum type stains. See relevant sections for usage and dilution used.Used after polishing to check the paint surface for any surface imperfections not removed by polishing.
Methodology
•Using a fine mist, spray the surface with a 1:1 solution distilled water and Isopropyl alcohol (IPA) an aqueous solution will also eliminate static electricity from the paint surface
•Leave it to dwell for 30-45 seconds, agitate the surface before wiping the paint surface with clean, dry 100% cotton (DF Alpine™) towel to remove sealant/wax residue.
•Repeat as necessary
•Place your fingertips on the paint surface, by running your finger tips along the surface there should be resistance (surface tension) this is indicative of a clean paint surface i.e. without any sealant / wax /oils.

You've detailed the car three times, and you haven't clayed? Then you haven't detailed the car even once.

Oh, no wonder so many problems/questions. You're not doing this yourself.

You should really get some beer in the fridge, turn on a radio, and spend a good ol' fashioned American Saturday washing and waxing your car.
