Only the mercedes-benz factory fluid will strip zaino. Any blue stuff from a parts store will not because it is just water with an anti-freeze agent. The factory fluid contains ammonia and does a really good job at cleaning the windows, but strips the wax off your paint. Actually my dealer's detail department uses the factory stuff to get tree sap off of their cars.

I wouldn't run the tank dry by squirting it all out, you'll probably overheat the washer pump. On a C-class, remove the left front wheel and wheel-well liner. You'll have access to the washer reservoir then, just remove the rubber grommet on the tank and let it all run out.

Yep, same for all 203 C-classes. It's not hard to do at all. The washer pump clips into the side of the washer tank. Right next to the washer pump is a small black rubber grommet. Just remove that, and the fluid will gush out.

i have another question. sort of loosely clipped to the side of the washer fluid opening is a short tube. what is that for? it was loose when i checked it and it seems precariously placed. i pulled it out and it was wet on the bottom end. also, visually, i can't check the fluid levels. is that correct?
oops, that's 2 questions
