Okay how do i clean them. Should I put them in the machine, and wash them with just normal hot water. Or baking soda, ANything particular. And then how do i dry them, so that they do not become rough

Thanks in advanced

i just wash them with warm water and tide. they never got rough of anything of the sort. maybe eventually they might. i've noticed that the white color towels get rough sooner than the non-white towels. it's weird.

I only use microfiber...so for that, I just put them in the wash (microfiber towels by themselves only) with tide. NO FABRIC SOFTENER!

That should be liquid Tide. Don't use the powder, because not all the granules dissolve, and if some of them stick to the towel, they will scratch the paint.

OMG! If unrinsed detergent granules in a cotton towel are going to scratch the surface of our cars . . . we should all get Deloreans! I shudder to think what would happen if I stopped using Evian to rinse off the brake dust . . .

EVIAN!!!! What is wrong with you. Everyone know that you are supposed to Pellegrino. The little bubbles scrub the dust right off.

Pellegrino . . . like Perrier . . . has too high a mineral content. Think of the swirl marks!
