hey maybe a weird question. But syn waxes last for 6 months but during that time can u put a Carnuaba wax on top of it for extra protection??

A sealant (synthetic wax) has far more durability (will last longer) than a natural wax.
Using a wax as a last step product (LSP) on top of a sealant is usually done to 'improve' the 'look' (very subjective though)

Yes, I use PS21 on top of NXT and it has a very deep gloss. Looks great on all my cars.

The synthetic waxes (aka sealants) will last up to six months, but most of them last less. There are only a few sealants I've used that can last up to six months and that is with good conditions and the proper prep work. Regardless yes you can layer a carnauba wax on top of it for extra protection and shine. It's a great way to get a deep shine and stronger protection than just a sealant. Originally Posted by FF_EMT

is it okay to keep putting sealant and then carnauba wax over existing sealant and carnauba wax? Or do you have to strip off the previously layers?

i would say if you are starting fresh strip everything off and go from there.
sealant first then carnauba. after that wax from then on. when you want to reseal it I would start fresh again.
