My Pillar posts on my S class is like oxidizing or something to that effect. Its the black plastic like material that most of the posts are made of. Does anyone know whats the best product to clean these with?

Thanks,
Matt

I have a bunch of car care products. I usually use Mequiar's waxes, pre wax and detailer. If i need to buy something to use I will. Sorry for my novice terminology but when you say polish exactly what do you mean? Like a scratch remover formula? Thanks for the help.

A polish is a compound that contains an abrasive material to buff out scratches. I tems such as Megs Ultimate Compound, SwirlX or ScratchX should work, UC being the most effective

I have Meguiar's Deep crystal System Step 1 Paint Cleaner, and Meguiar's Scratch X. One of these would work or get a different one?

you can wax it but first test a spot.

first use the polish then wax

note: try a spot first don't go crazy make sure it works.

No, I didn't use a machine. Hand buffed it 2-3 times with each product in one spot. They look better but the oxidation or whatever it is still remains.
