Just got some Zaino!!!
For those interested, I will post some "before and after" pictures, probably over the weekend, when the weather gets better (it's been real cold here in the SF Bay Area).
My car is black and has it's share of swirl marks/scratches. I've tried everything from McGuire's, Mother's, 3M, and Zymol. I thought I'd give Zaino a shot.
I've going to use Zaino Z-1 (required) and a couple of coats of Z-5 (swirl remover polish), followed by some Z-2.
If results are worth posting, I'll post the pictures. Otherwise, consider the results to be no better than any of the products I've used.

Results are awesome. but nothing better than the other stuff
After following Zaino's instructions (wash car with Dawn, clay the car, Z-1, and 2 coats of Z-5), I have to say the results are great.
I don't think the shine is any better than a zymol, mothers, or meguires shine. Plus it took a lot of waiting for the polish to dry.
Pros:
1) easy to apply and remove
2) little goes a long way
3) shine is great
4) swirl marks were harder to see (but they don't disappear - how could they without any abrasion or buffing)
Cons:
1) 2-step process, minimum, plus the waiting time for the polish to "lock-in"
2) Pricey
Overall, it's a good product, however I don't think it's any better than any of the other over the counter stuff you can get at your local target, kragen, or grand auto. Although I didn't do a side-by-side comparison test (like the owner of the black porsche), I would conclude that the results would have been the same. Also, I would say claying the car made the most difference as it preps the paint for a good polish.
If you have any comments or questions, please feel free to chime in....

Out Of Control!!
I just ordered some Zaino myself. In your original note, you said that you were going to use Z2 after the Z5. Did you use this? Just wondering if that would make a difference.

I did apply some Z-2 just on my hood and I really couldn't tell the difference b/w the hood and the fenders....
I'm not knockin' zaino at all, but again, I think the de-waxing and claying the car made the most difference regardless of what polish or wax system you go with.

While the the shine and depth of color may be subjective I can state that it is the longevity of the Zaino products that makes it my choice for my vehicles. It has been a few rough months here in the NY area with not much snow but plenty of occasion for the roads to be salted, and the Zaino has held up well. It is still protecting well and when I do get the opportunity to wash the vehicle it comes back nicely.
The ease of use once you get used to the "system" is also a plus for me.
Just my 2-cents.

I just sold my Corvette and used nothing but Zaino. The real shine comes after about 3-4 coats of polish and enhancer. It is a very easy wax to apply and remove.

I've read all sorts of good things on the net about Zaino and am ready to order. I went to their website and it's too bad there's no online order facility. You have to print out the order form and mail them a check. The ol' fashioned way. Oh well.

Hey, thanks for the tip spindrome!
I completed the order form but as in this day and age of instant ordering, I got bogged down with the ol' drop-it-in-the-mail order form. I'll call those guys and it'd be great to just go local and buy it.
