I had Detailers come to my house and detailed my CLK 430
There is a company called Eye 4 Detail in New York area that comes to your house with a truck full of detailing equipment. I tried them out and was extremely pleased with the job they did. I used detail shops before but they left some swirls that I couldn't get out and not to mention having to drop my car off which was a bit of an inconvenience to me. These guys got the swirls out and left a showroom finish on her. Complete in and out service including steam cleaning the engine was only $150.00. I highly recommend them. True I never posted. but I really never had a need to. I've visited this site many time and have gotten great tips. I just thought that there would be others in my situation and would appreciate that to know that a service like this exists.
Take it with a grain of salt. I thought it was a novel idea and told the guy that I would spread the word for him.

My favoirite part is about it being a 'novel idea'. Hell, you can't make a turn in my town without about running into a van or truck with "(insert name here) Mobile Detailing Service" on the side.
And why is it that all the Mobile Detailers I see drive beat up old vans that obviously haven't been washed in months?
I don't think I'd ever trust a detailer that didn't even take care of their own vehicle.

I don't know if this is spam or not and I don't really care cause I live in L.A. I do, however, think that a mobile detailing service is a great idea though. Does anyone know of one in the So. California area that I could use? I would just want this so that I could watch a professional in action and take some notes.
