The exhaust tip is stainless steel with the former C7 option. Never Dull would be fine. I've used a different metal polish called Solvol Autosol, which I also use to keep bare aluminum wheels polished. One swipe removed the carbon.
Stay away from the pot-scrubber type of sponge for any automotive application. The abrasive on the back of those sponges is tough enough to scratch glass.

whats better than eagle one?
I have tried eagle one and still use it but is there anything thats better.
It does a great job of the top and the outside but the bottom lip of the exhaust is still black. It is shiny but still black.
I am sure that it is the buildup that is caked on but I have tried scrubbing pretty hard with a cotton towel and it still doesn't come off.
Any suggestions?
BTW- its a c32 w/ the chrome tips so I am not sure if they generate more residue on the exhaust or not or if the residue sticks to the chrome easier?
