Mr. Clean Autodry...

Guys, I used this over the weekend and I am sold, for people who dont have an entire day to detail a car, and for a quick wash, this is awesome, its so easy and the results were outstanding. You basically spray it on the car, and it dries up on its own, and if you still have wet spot, you just dry it with a towel, and it doesnt leave any lint on the hood or anything, the car looked great! You can pick it up over at Wal-Mart for like $19.95, possibly the best product i ever bought cleaning wise, so easy anyone could do it, only downfall is how gay it looks when your spraying it, you'll know what i mean when you get it, anyone else use this???

I just saw it the other day when I was in autozone picking up a few things. I was contemplating to buy it but didn't really trust it :p

Now that i see that someone has used it and it's worth getting (it was like $20 for it)...may give it a shot. Thanks for the review

Has anybody tried Eagle 1 Dry as you wax or something like that? I heard it's good. I bought it a while ago but haven't tested it out yet.

Yes it's very very good for the right applications. It does not replace when your paint needs a cleaner/wax, but if your car was recently hand/machine waxed this is the best way to keep that super smooth just waxed feeling after your next wash. It leaves a great shine and keeps getting better the more you use it and offers great protection. Its like a heavy duty detail spray without the extra steps.

Actually, I've been using it for the last 3 weeks and I have to say it works great. The refills will run you about $1 per wash but it is well worth it. The only thing I don't like is that there is no real indicator on the filter to let you know it needs changing so make sure you keep track of how many washes you have used it for. Once you go over it really shows after the water dries and you have a few spots on the bottom half of your car. Even if there are a few spots left over, rubbing those off is still a lot easier than hand drying the entire car.

I definitely know what you mean. It was a little embarassing at first but once I saw how well it worked, it didn't bother me as much.

Is it possible to use the rinse part of the thing alone? I'm having problems with water spots and I was thinking that this might work. Is the rinse water filtered and can it be replace. Thanks for any help.

I had someone helping me wash all of our cars and they used a regular bucket of soap to wash our Expedition. I didn't realize it until after it was rinsed off with the Mr. Clean and I saw all of the spots. I just did a quick re-rinse and then hand dried it and it turned out fine.

I picked up a Mr. Clean Autodry last week...I figured for $20 why not. Well I tried it today and I real happy with results. I just used the rinse water part of the system, I did not us their soap. I washed my car with Z-7 and then used the rinse portion of Mr. Clean to final rinse the car and I was real happy with the results. I'd say that it eliminated 98% of the water spots. I post some pics in a little bit.

Just wanted to let everyone know my experience Mr. Clean . Now I have to go buy some more filters for the thing.

Here's a pic of my car just after washing and drying with a mf towel but before cleaning the windows with glass cleaner.

Usually the black trim strip above the windshield is covered with water spot but this time no spots and what tiny amount there was vanished when I went over it with Z-6 gloss enhancer.
