is zaino overpriced/overrated??!! I just ordered their leather cleaner and conditioner and was not impressed... $30 (inlcuding 9 bucks just for shipping!) and all the rave reviews I thought I would be getting a breakthrough product. Nothing special IMO

Nah, Z is great, especially for my silver paint. I dont think Zaino is known for leather care. Do you have there waxing kit? Very easy to use. I just want to try something new.

homerun park:Thanks, What kind of megs do you use? Im interested in natural carnuba so no NXT. Have you tried the #26?

Mua4r, any kit is expensive if you want to factor in Washing shampoo, Claybars, Polishes, Waxing, QDs, etc. Z is a pretty good bargain IMO, You only use it like twice a year rather than conventional waxes. Please dont complain about money when you have 100,000 worth of cars in your sig.

Adam,

Have you tried any other waxes/sealants besides Zaino?

Vanilla Moose glaze topped with S100 (P21S) wax, and to finish it off, Quickshine QD. Also, the S100 is VERY easy to use.

Mother's pure carnuba yellow paste. After each and every wash I use Eagle One Wax As U Dry it keeps the car just waxed fresh. The added weekly protection has saved my car from nasty bird bomb clear coat damage and other stains.

Zaino won...because they didn't enter Klasse into the test. I stopped using Zaino just over a year ago. It's always been important to me, here in Chicago, to apply Zaino in late October to protect my cars right through to March, when it's finally warm enough to hand wash and polish. Klasse was recommended last year by the wife's BMW service advisor. Bottom line, Klasse was beading and shining in March, after the winter beating, MUCH better than Zaino ever did.

Both are exceptional products. But I demand the longest lasting protection possible, and I've found it in Klasse.

Mothers? Eagle one? These brands are fine for carwash soap and rims but there are MUCH better brands for wax.

No, ever since I started using Zaino, it has been what I have stuck with. It works, it lasts, it's easy, it looks great. No need to try anything else.

You asked for a natural carnuba product and one under $30 so that's why I recommended Mother's pure 100% carnuba. As I previously stated, the eagle one wax as u dry is the best stuff to use after every wash while the car is still wet.

With respect to car wash soap I use Pinnacle (thanks AL B) as you want a soap that will remove as little wax as possible and one that has lots of high quality oils.

The eagle one wax as u dry also helps keep a just waxed car waxed even after washing and no matter how good the soap it will remove some wax. After the eagle one is used, my car is buttery smooth again and has extra protection after every wash; it also eliminates the extra 2 steps of a detail spray because it is applied when wet and there is no buffing needed. The product should be used primarily for this purpose only and is not a replacement for regular waxing etc. It's also great to use on the rims after each wash.

Nuf said.

Try to comprehend what I had written!!! Once again, I was responding to YOUR request for a natural, pure carnuba wax for under $30.

I have many different waxes, polishes, shampoos etc. , from Meguiars to expensive custom blends which I've previously recommended. What I use or suggest is dependant on the specific application. YOU are the one that made price a consideration not me.

I offered you good advice with only the best of intentions, specific to your request and instead of a gracious reply you put in insulting icons and comments.

You are an ingrate and very immature.

hey hey lets not start name calling! I wasnt trying to offend just trying to understand your logic of why you use such a high end shampoo with a average quality wax such as eagle one, mothers. But i guess you were tell ME to use mothers. Please no mothers pruducts for me.

I guess I Dont like idea of using mothers and eagle one for my mercedes when it comes to wax. Do you have any other suggestions? The reason I mentioned price range is that I dont want spend 80 bucks suverine or 150 bucks zymol products.

I appreciate your responses. There is just a misunderstanding going on . Im sorry if you took offense to the smilies
