ULSD Station Finder on MBUSA

MBUSA has posted a new page for finding ULSD diesel fuel. It provides search by zip or state, gives locations, phone #, and map directions. Click on the item in the upper right hand corner.

Thanks! I have an ML 320 on order for late Feb. delivery and the two diesel stations near me both have LSD decals. According to the MBUSA fuel finder the nearest ULSD station is 15 miles from me. I hope that will change by the time the truck arrives with some additional stations.

At first glance, their database is pretty sparsely populated. The closest listed station to my ZIP code (ironically) is in Nashville. In truth, I don't know of a local outlet in Birmingham that doesn't have ULSD. I think they could benefit from allowing user submissions.

I agree with Talbot...the two stations I most often frequent have had ULSD stickers on the pumps for months, but are not listed.

Station Finder

Yes, I figured that it was probably not up to date, however the two closest stations that I actually checked are clearly marked LSD and when I inquired with the manager neither knew the difference. I think that they may, in fact,
have ULSD but I would hate to guess wrong on my (actually my wife's) brand new SUV.
SC is a pretty "lax" state, but hopefully in the next couple of months the availability, and labeling issue will get better.

The website is totally "out to lunch"; i.e. not living in the real world.

It claims no ULSD in Georgia. Tain't so by a darned sight!

FWIW, I averaged 22 mpg in 70 miles of all city driving today with my 2007 ML 320 CDI. Not bad for an engine with less than 200 miles on the clock.

Their list seems very bias. Every station in my area was Shell. I know darn well there are others that sell it.

According to them, all Mobil stations in my area ONLY sell it. Just about every pump I've come across is ULSD.

This list is not very accurate. There are pumps all over my area that have the ULSD stickers on them and not 1 of them was on the MBUSA list...

2019 Volvo XC90 Magic/Amber, '95 E320 Cabriolet Midnight,'14 GL350 Lunar/Almond was '07 GL320CDI
The list is crazy...why they wasted the resources (albeit probably not much) to put that up when it is so inaccurate is beyond me.

I am sure this site is not up to date. However, I live in southeast Ohio and have yet to see any stations selling ULSD. I thought this was reqiured to be available by October/November 06. I would hate to drive 50 miles to fill up my tank on an 07 vehicle

Exclamation How True

The website does not list any of the Arco stations in California where there were at least
122 stations that have been selling their ECD-1 ULSD for more than five years now.

There are of course many many more stations now selling ULSD since it became the law-of-the-land.

So much for being up to date!

Don't go by that list. It is woefully inadequate. Just check out your local stations in person and look for the ULSD sticker on the pump.

Smile No Need Now . . .

Livermore, California?

Since the "new" ULSD fuel became the fuel-of-the-land, most all stations
selling on road diesel are selling the same or almost the same fuel.

That list was started way back some five years plus ago in California when
Arco/PB first jumped the gun with their then new ECD-1 fuel.

I am no authority, but to me, most all ULSD fuels should be pretty much the same now.

Good luck.
