My 240 td (82) is sluggish when going uphill. It also makes a clunking noise when driving. What is it?

First, you only have 62hp, its always going to be slow. Second, change your fuel filters and adjust the valves.

i have a 240d I changed the air filter new fuel filter BOTh also the voltage regalotor and a new alternator, plus a new battery had it since sept drive it 40miles one and back on weekends I lUV IT oil change next

in the next 2months shocks new belts and just keep driving it!!!!!!!!!
