Hello new member in CT with 1987 300 T Diesel. The car is in great shape and i need to get some work done this winter.

The rear head rest retracker, outdide temp. sensor and fuel gauge stop working within a week from each other. Releated?

Also, it bucks between 1 and 2 gear, but gets better the more you drive it. Could this be the breather valve?

any help would be great.

The transmission has no relation to the engine except through throttle position and engine RPM.

You need to look into this: http://www.makcotransmissionparts.com/S68165D.html

Thanks again for the info I send them a email to see if I can do this myself or need to send it out. I'll let you know. Is this common or just do to the age of the car? I only have 234,000 miles on it.
