P0101 Code Mercedes E320 Bluetec 2008

Hello!
What can cause the P0101 code to come out on 2008 E320 Bluetec. MAF sensors are not at fault. What else can be the issue? Please advise.

Thank you,
Siarhei

Tell us more?
How do you know MAF is not at fault?
Did you clean the plugs?

I haven't cleaned the plugs, I bought CRC MAF and will clean it. I replaced MAF from the other car and nothing changed, code is the same but my MAF was not at fault on other car and check engine light didn't come out.

Did you erase code when changing the MAF?
The error might clear itself, but last time I did it, took 7 engine restarts for CEL to go off.

Yes, I erased and cleared the code. Usually otger codes don't come out right after cleared but this one P0101 come out even after I erased it in few seconds. I just wonder if there other sensor that may cause the same kind a problem and code.

Those engines are not that long out of warranty, so DIY knowledge is a bit limited, but generic code points you into area, not necessary pointing the wire.
So you have code for intake trouble.
-check the intake, especially intercooler hoses for leaks
-check turbo for proper fins operation.
-double check all electrical plugs and run MAF or other cleaner on them.

Hello Sergeyshk, what was the cause of your P0101 code? I'm having the same issue on the same car and I've replaced the MAF sensors already so I know it's not that. Any help would be much appreciated!

Hi, I replaced MAF sensor with duct pipe line. Also, check all the pipes that are going from turbocharger to the intercooler and from the intercooler to the engine. It may cause the code to come out. One time I had an issue and found one of the pipes on my vehicle had a crack and it caused the air leak and code. It was loosing the air pressure. I replaced the pipe and problem was solved! Good luck.

Ok, thanks so much for your reply! I'll check all my hoses.

Cheers!
