Need advice for replacing broken plastic "brace" for throttle linkage on ol' OM603

My '87 is having a hiccup. The accelerator pedal is going straight to the floor after startup. Apparently the Linkages fell loose atop the Injection-Pump and conveniently under the intake-manifold. I do not want to pull off the manifold to replace the piece, however if replacing the broken plastic piece with a new one is the only option, and required removing the manifold...well then what choice do I have? That brittle little B$%# broke on me when I was out on the trails with my dog, so I had to use handy-dandy zip-ties to rig something up. Keeping form and function in mind, I was able to rig up a few systems that seemed good to the touch but had no result at the pedal. After an hr I found something that was able to get me to a low rpm. With mostly country roads between me and my home, I was able to work the gearbox and turbo to get up to 4th eventually and get home safe. Now Id like to fix the problem. I have a 92 with the 2.5l turbo-Diesel but the assembly of the throttle with the IP is a completely different set up.
If you have an OM603, please look between the 5th and 6th cylinders and at the bracket and tell me your two-sense.

Did you get a price on new bracket?
Doesn't like like it should cost a lot.

If you could remove it then fashion a piece of mild steel angle to fit & attach with fine screws & epoxy resin.

I know you live in the woods where the squirrels dump all over your baby and life is tough, however did you ever think of getting on your ATV and visiting a dealer in a town to determine if the part is available.

Life is tough if you're stupid. Fortunately, I was smart enough to call them before hopping on my quad for the excursion. I used to live within 2 miles of a major airport and the opposite direction was a massive Benz dealer alongside Porsche, etc. I think that life is for plenty of people, but not for me. For some, life outside of the grid and its commodities is tough, while others (alpha male, etc. ) are able to flourish. I am still looking for the part.

My local dealer was unable to help me locate the piece in their data. If anybody can help me out, Id like to replace the complete unit that houses teh end of the cable and also clicks on to one of the ball-socket rods that make up the throttle assembly.

Thanks.

After much efforts and pretending to be a detective, I was able to locate the part # for reference: 6030720601

The best or nothing.

Thank you for sharing your persistence, perseverance eagerness to get off the couch and saving band width by locating the correct part yourself---simply amazing, however I like you wish things would just fall off a tree or receive a tweet!!
