Smart electric
Fiat electric.
For my vacations I drive Ford Superduty with camper. Now I just wonder when Ford will have class action suit. Their 440 HP diesel is a beast, but there is no way I can figure out pollution.

Given the resale hit, seems kinda low... especially compared to the VW settlement

If they had a fix, and there are no affects, why cheat?

My understanding is that like FCA and Mercedes might not be sued for a criminal offence( they didn't know about the level emission according to the different publication they've issued).
Mercedes might get sued for the ''wrong'' publicity of the Bluetec. There is no way this thing is even close to blue with the level of emission this car has under a certain temperature.
On the flip side, Volkswagen aknowledged they knew about the toxicity level of their diesel car. They've been trying to hide their device.
Mercedes, VW and FCA have the same diesel system produced by Bosch.
What I have heard from Canadian car expert. Mercedes is just waiting to develop the right software update before plunging into the scandal.
In Europe the recall is on its way. https://www.daimler.com/innovation/d...ecall-faq.html
In Canada many class action are on this case http://www.mercedesbluetecclassaction.ca/home-en.html

Comparing my US model to European models with the same engine, the programs in them differ quite a bit.

The 6.7 l diesel Ford makes for last few years is a beast with over 900 of torque and good reputation.

as the owner of both an awesome 7.3 liter Ford and a nightmarish 6.0 Ford...oh the stories I could tell, receipts I could show. My mercedes has been almost free to own for last 160k miles, I’m driving it into the ground or salvage yard when it finally dies.
