Most probably.

Send me your ECM, I'll drop it off at the shop near my place and have them do the deletes. Prolly cost you around $600, if I remember correctly. You'd have to find someone local to do the DPF bypass, or simply drive it 'till it plugs up

1922 Ford Model T / no OBD
My DPF was having mechanical damage, so I chiseled the insides out.
Took me about 1 hr on the edge of garbage can as I don't have good work bench.
Removal and installation is about 1 hr each when you have lift.
Somebody was posting that tuner in CA does deletes for $100 each, but that was still with some mishaps.

Have you read your "Service and Warranty" Booklet, specifically the 7 page section that deals with "Emission Performance Warranty" ?

On the 6th or 7th page of this section, it specifically mentions that the DPF is covered for "8 years or 130,000 km, whichever comes first". Thus , there is no need for an Extended Warranty to cover the DPF.

This is correct for DPF, Catalysts and a few other items. But not for Adblue system and some sensors. I posted just what is covered elsewhere, but could find it with some time. Is your car still within the 8years/130k km limit?

There has been discussion elsewhere of Bluetec delete. One guy I recall was from Calgary in GLK250 forum.

Here: https://mbworld.org/forums/glk-class...-disabled.html

I never had any problems with my Bluetec diesel, but only drove it 50k km! Others have also had good luck. Everything can be fixed, but the DPF/Bluetec/Sensors are very expensive to replace.

My brother owns an E250 CDI in Africa . They don't have low sulphur fuel everywhere there, so cars have a different engine. Or maybe similar engine without Bluetec? Seems there would be a market for those engines here!
