In the long run it's cheaper just to pull your ecu and send it in for a tune. Ideally deleting the dpf and egr.
Alternatively you can buy a metal heater instead of the oe plastic ones which will last longer, but something else in the system is likely to break.

who sells a metal heater? It is actually the level sensor that has quite on me (now twice). I can't even remember why the first one failed.
Any recommendations for eco tune?




I send my ECU to London for DPF and DEF delete. The guys generate huge cost on wire transfer, shipping and return shipping alone and when they advertised "3 days turn-over" whole process took like 6 weeks with car on the lift.
Than turned out DEF was not deleted. They ask me to send ECU back, but I did not want to go via the experience again and drive with no DPF but DEF still on.
For me DEF deletion had gaining spare wheel space in mind, but now I just put the wheel in the trunk.
Than there is still a question how much you want to poison yourself and people around your car?
