Not only the wheels turn slowly, but final date for AEM is in fall of 2022, when it will become clear what payments amounts will become due.
Last confirmation says that the owner doing AEM, in lack of PO claims can get full $3500 check.
I performed 3 AEMs already and have 1 more coming.....
But I don't spend the money yet.

I summited a claim for a 2013 and 2015 in early April. I do not currently own either. My payment is for the full amount. What is weird is the claim ID on the check (address and all info matches the website) does not match either of my Claim Numbers. I'll call first thing in the AM to check. For what its worth the address on it is in Seattle and I live in Bellevue so I am likely one of the first to receive a check? Was a fun surprise in the main.

Thank you very much for the detailed information! I wonder if they are processing in the chronological order the claims were received.
Was the envelope clearly labeled? I get way too much mail and could easily miss it amongst all the junk.

Its a thin normal envelope. Looked pretty plain but it looks like every other check you get in the mail. We all need to be on the lookout now!

When did you notice EMC5 go to this new date?
Expected to be available on or around February 2022, after approval
It was for a long time and still is on mbusa site as q4
My 12'GL350 is a paperweight trying to come up with an exit plan as I have payments + insurance for a year that's been a total dud. ( not to mention oil cooler etc). Curious going to see If i can give it to Carvana non operational.
I think that the AEM wont stick I have talked to EPA reps before that some cars didn't take it ( she mentioned an ML350) . Assuming that they then would be offered a buy back.

Thanks for the update, I hadn't checked in a while. Looks to be a very expensive update with all the newly added parts. Also looks like we've been moved from October 2021 to February 2022 now as well.

Hope they will be smart enough to offer a buyback as an option ( folks did not opted out has the buyback option if MB can not do AEM).
