You dropped the vehicle off yesterday (Monday) and you already have it back today (Tuesday)? Your dealership must be very efficient. Where are you located? My vehicle is usually in the shop for at least a week for any repair; and that is after waiting at least a month for an appointment.

It was actually ready the same day. Called on Thursday evening to ask if pre-heater was covered. I was told that it is and I immediately booked an appointment for the next Monday for 10am. When I dropped it off, they told me the diag would cost ~$400 and I would be responsible for it if the issue is not covered under warranty. They told me that they would need to keep my car overnight. I got a call around 4pm the same day that the car was ready and everything was covered under warranty.
I'm in the Toronto, Canada area. I realize that this is the USA thread, but our AEM terms are identical. Just the payout was different.

Maybe it's vehicle dependent. Mine is a 2012 E350. However, when I was talking to the service advisor about the pre heater he immediately responded that it was covered. Definitely didn't sound like he had to look it up.

That is impressive. I wish service was that quick down here.
