Possible fuel injector leak
Hey guys,
Changed the oil today and when I fired up the GL I noticed this high pitched noise. I tried to look around but couldn’t see nor feel anything. Does this sound like a leaking injector or am I just paranoid? It is only on the passenger side of the vehicle.
2014 GL350BT with 135k miles.

I would take the air intake off and inspect the injectors for oil residue. You also have to remove the foam that's on top of injectors. If you don't want to do that, get a short length of hose, start the car and with one end on your ear, slip the other end down at the bottom of the injector. Check all 6 for sound discrepancies.

Thanks guys! I was able to fanagle the foam piece and did see some residue. Looks like a confirmed leaking injector. Hoping I can get this cleaned and changed out fairly simple based on this video.

It is not difficult job, just have the engine hot, very hot and slide hammer ready. And soak the injector with pb blaster night before you start working on that.
Also use new screws - very important. And tight with torque wrench according to mercedes specs.

My biggest worry is cleaning the buildup and pulling clips out without breaking anything.

Also,
do you happen to know what part number 410 is? I have residue on my silencer and I’m assuming my gasket is worn. I would like to replace it as well.

Drive the car for at least 45 minutes on FWY then keep RPM around 2500 for 5 minutes before you turn the engine off. Based on the photo you posted I would say get a slide hammer, because it can be tricky to get that injector out.
Second option is to have engine running and slowly loose bolt which is holding injector, but this is two person job and somewhat dangerous. Check the video below:

Geese Louise it’s been a fun one.
got two changed and got to the one that was actually leaking....injector was ultra stuck. Put in a new bolt to start the truck back up but ended up breaking the bolt:/
fortunately, I was able to button everything back up, start the engine (with one fuel injector bolt missing), let it idle for 2 minutes, and shut it down. This was enough to free up the stuck injector. Thankfully, my brother is a aircraft mechanic and was able to extract the bolt without damaging the head.
Here is the failed injector seal. Has a chunk missing!!
