BG 245 fuel system cleaner testimonial
Just want to sing the praises of this product. W166 OM642 engine - I was dealing with a slight hesitation at idle that gradually become worse over time and finally ending with a 13B800 CEL "Maximum actuation duration for zero quantity calibration for injector 4 exceeded". Oddly enough it was only noticeable in neutral, not in D while stopped, but eventually became felt all the time. The car felt sick.
I poured a single can of BG245 and topped off with diesel. Gradually the symptoms improved and by 1/2 tank I was back to the slight hesitation. I cleared the code and it has not come back. Now having nearly finished the tank the idle is smooth as new. I never really believed in fuel additives before but this one really does work.

adding a thumbs up to BG 245. Read some great info and reviews regarding it, but not much out there as it doesnt seem to be very popular. Had a indy mechanic also highly recommend it saying they use it and it helps. For me i want to say it smoothed out my idle. I now use it about once a year.
Havent used the liqui moly intake cleaner though, @kajtek1 did you have good results from it?

My engines run perfect and I don't drive much anymore.
But intake replacement on OM642 engines is consider a higher mileage maintenance by dealers and it is easy to spend well above 2 grands for the service, so the can looks really tempting.
You can find some videos on youtube about the procedure, what is not simple and good reviews.
