Synergy Diesel Efficient™ fuel for cars

Is this fuel OK to run in OM642? This is what they sell at Esso and Mobil1 stations in Ontario Canada.
i pulled up to one and it had a label BIO 100%

I can't say for the 642, but here is the guidance in the manual for my 651:

Bio-diesel - FAME (fatty acid methyl ester)
Mercedes-Benz USA approves the use of biodiesel
B5 for all BlueTEC diesel engines. The
concentration of bio-diesel in the ULSD may
not exceed 5% by volume.
Pure bio-diesel and diesel fuel with a higher
percentage of bio-diesel, such as B20, can
damage the engine and the fuel system. For
this reason, they are not approved.

Sounds like if it's really B100 it would not be approved...

I should add that the 100% Bio label was made by staff as It was a paper one written with a sharpee. I thought perhaps a cautionary note...

It's not biodiesel, it's hydrogenated vegetable oil (HVO). It has more in common with #2 diesel than biodiesel.

In the US it's just Exxon/Mobil's detergent and additive package (extra lubricity etc.) applied to regular terminal diesel. The additive is added at the terminal vice at the service station.
No biodiesel, no hydrogenated vegetable oil. More booby misinformation.

They all get the same fuel from the refinery. Maybe they add something different at the terminal but I doubt it, would have to ask the neighbor. All the trucks with there different badges get the diesel from the same terminal and deliver to the various stations.

OP
I would figure out a different place to go if the staff are hand writing various labels for something that should be properly posted. Ya dont want to use 100% bio in a vehicle that has problems with 10 or 20%.

Exxon Mobil states it is added to the truck at the terminal. Otherwise, yeah, it's all the same before the additives.

On Sprinter forum a member reported that it gelled with positive temperatures.
