So Blind Spot Assist only comes with the Distronic Option?
I know it may be a dumb question, but also read in this forum that ALL cars come with this feature at no extra cost.

I have seen a 550C with Blind Spot as a $600 option. It did not have distronic. My 350C has neither one although it has the P2 package.

Yes seems wierd. Some models have it without Distronic and some do. Reason why I ask, I have a 2011 E350 and the manual states it has it, but I cannot get the option on my instrumentation to enable or disable as the manual mentions. Many posts out there say it is standard. Thanks Mike

Unless they added in 2011 model it wasn't available on the coupe in 2010 only sedan

There is no blind spot assist option available on the North American coupes/cabs for 2010 or 2011, regardless of whether or not the car has DISTRONIC PLUS.

my 2011 e350 coupe came with the blind spot assist. it was a stand alone package for $600.00. i believe the dealer had special ordered it, since i only bought the car as it was recieved at the vpc LA..

Would you happen to know if Blind Spot Assist can be added at a dealer as an option?

I dont think you can get it added at the dealer, if you order it, you will be able to get the option. The Blind spot assist is intigrated into the side mirrors and i dont see how the dealer would be able to add the option at the dealership as the side mirrors would have to be replaced and some sensors etc. i dont know if i would have ordered it but im glad the car came with the option, however i have been relying too much on the flashing lights in the mirror now and tend to look for it when im driving other vehicles lol..
