Disable head rest from moving up and down when you adjust seat
Why does the head rest move up and down when you simply move the seat forwards or backwards? I don't see why that has anything to do with it.
I personally like my headrests all the way down. I find it annoying every single time a passenger moves the seat it goes up and then I have to tell them to manually put it down or lean over and do it myself.
Any way of disabling the head rest automatic self adjustment and only have it move if you choose for it to?

the headrest goes up and down in relation to the height of the driver based on how close the seat is or how far back the seat is.

I set seat memory #1 to the seat and headrest position i prefer, for both the driver's and passenger's seat. If either gets re-adjusted by another driver or passenger, I just hit the pre-set and all is well.

It bugs the hell out of me. It did it in my W211 however the one currently in W212 is working incorrectly because when you move the seat it always goes up (regardless of direction the seat is moving) and never down like my W211 did. I just haven’t had the time to bring it in.

You still have to lean across to press the 1 for the preset for the passenger seat so it doesn't save any headache.

I think that it goes down so it doesn't hit the top of the top A pillar cross member (top of windshield). It does go back to where is was after you push the seat back.

I believe disconnecting the wires is the only way to resolve this.

That explains it, so I guess there is nothing technically wrong with it. But its still dumb that it does that. lol
