2) How do you roll all the windows down and open the sunroof from the remote?

1) No, but there are aftermarket options (Smartkey Starter is offered by my dealer. Search the forums for more information)

2) Hold the unlock button on the fob while pointing it at the door

3) Not that I am aware of *but* I've only had my vehicle for two weeks...

I tried holding unlock but it didn't do anything yesterday at the beach. I'll try it again tomorrow.

IIRC the window functions are infrared and require the fob to be pointed at the door handle and in visual range for it to work. I'll check the manual tomorrow.

Auto window down and sunroof open only works when pointing at the drivers door. At least that's the way it worked on my 05 CLK. Haven't tried yet but think it's the same on my vertible. Guess I got something to try when the weather gets a little nicer.

The reverse also works to close the windows and sunroof when left open and having exited the car. Hold the lock button while pointing the remote at the driver's door handle.

Holding the unlock button while pointing the fob at my drivers door did put all of the windows down but the sunroof did not open. It's supposed to correct?

Opens and closes from the remote as indicated for both our E350C (w/P2) and GL 350Btc (w/P1), both of which are 2011. Tried both cars, opening and closing windows and sunroof of both, before posting.

May be worth troubleshooting at the service department to see if it is a software issue, remote battery deficiency or other issue. Also maybe its part of a package such that some cars have it and some don't although it works on both of our P1 and P2 equipped cars.

I have the P2 package amongst other additions. I tried it again just now in my garage and the windows go down while holding unlock but the sunroof does not open. Also holding the lock button did not put the windows back up. Mine is a 2011 as well.

I just went in the garage to do further tests. Holding the unlock button puts all the windows down. Then if I let go of unlock and press and hold it again after the windows are down already the sunroof does open. However, holding lock did not put the windows up or close the sunroof. Tried this multiple ways.

Got it working. I believe the issue was the blind for the panorama roof. I wasn't waiting for that to fully open or close before holding unlock or lock again for the windows and sunroof.

On my 2011 E350 cab, holding the unlock button rolls the window down and drops the top.
