You would think that for an $80k cabriolet, that you would have the option of ordering rear heated seats. My car came with the wood kit so my steering wheel wasn't heated either, doesn't seem like a monumental technological hurdle?
Anyone have rear heated seats anywhere else in the world?

I have not seen or heard of any MB having rear heated seats. Only car maker I know of is Rolls Royce that have them as an option.

Mercedes: S and CL (current an previous generations) has optional heated rear seats.

Audi: A8 had/has them on all 3 generations from late 90s with optional "cold weather" package (that includes the steering wheel too, had all that on 2005 A8). A6 (top of the line 4.2s only) had them as option too (was on my 2001 A6 4.2).

Top of the line BMW 7s and Jag XJs also do.

Heated rear seats (code 872) are available on almost every current Benz north of the C-Class:
E-Class Sedan/Wagon (only with leather upholstery)
CLS-Class
ML-Class
GL-Class
R-Class
S-Class

Even the 2011 5 series here in Canada has optional rear heated seats.

For the US market (if you are willing to wait for a special ordered car), you may have heated rear seats & a heated steering wheel
to go along with the heated front seats that are included in the premium 1 package in the E-Class sedan or wagon.

Only heated front seats are available in the E-Class coupe/convertible, either by equipping the car with premium 1 package or
ordering them as a stand along option.

Hyundai Elantra, Sonata, Genesis, Equus has them.

I wish MB puts them on all the line as standard..

I have two kids that sit in the back, and many times they ask to put the roof up because they are cold. Rear heated seats would really be a great addition for a four seat convertible, even willing to pay extra.
