MB E550 Coupe
FOR SALE - 2010 E550 Coupe
Need more space for family. Must sell my 1 year old E550 Coupe. @21,000 kms Diamond White - Black Leather Interior with Burl Walnut trim. Loaded with all options including Distronic Plus & AMG (could not buy any more options). Also comes with set of MB Wheels and Michelin tires for winter. 3M Clear bra to front, mirrors and back rocker panels. Car is in great shape. I'm a nut about cleanliness and detail. Sad to have to sell. Absolutley great car!Don't have a good idea of what it's worth. Can't find another one like it in Canada. I'm thinking north of $60,000 though.

Not interested in your coupe, but I do have a question for you. I am thinking about getting another Benz in white and Diamond Pearl White color is the only white available through MB. Pictures are always difficult to tell, but is the diamond white, "white white" or is it kind of cream white?
I like it frosty white/bright white. Just want to make sure that diamond white is as white as they gets. If not, I believe I will go with Designo's "Cashmere White" exterior premium paint.

One more question about your wheels. Your is 6 spokes and mine is 5 spokes. Is it because yours is Canadian version and mine is US version or because yours is 2010 and mine is 2011?

I haven't seen "Diamond Pearl White," but I've seen "Diamond White Metallic" sitting next to Arctic White many times at dealers.
If you like white as white as it gets, the no-additional-cost Arctic White is just that - it's as white as new fallen snow hence the name "Arctic" White.
The Diamond White Metallic is not quite that white, but it is also not really cream-colored. It is stunning, especially close-up. Difficult to describe the difference. You should really attempt to see it before spending so much additional for the metallic.
One thing for sure, you cannot properly judge the difference on the MBUSA.com website's Build option. There, it does indeed make the Diamond White look much whiter, because it falsely darkens the look of the Arctic White, at least on my computer screen.
Of course, we are all wired differently and we each see these colors differently. That's why it would be best to view both side by side, if possible.
Good luck.

Well, can't argue how we each see colors. And my eyes may not be the best judge.
I will say that the Arctic White (again, to me) seems like a flatter, simpler,
very white - white, while the D.W.M. has great depth or brilliance or, depending on lighting, iridescence, making it more complex, while being a slight shade - OK, I"ll say "different" - from Arctic.
I almost bought a D.W.M. E350C April, 2010, before hearing about the new motors in the '12's. I spent a lot of time staring at them in sunlight and darkness/artificial lighting, before the dealer allowed me to back out and wait.
Did I cover myself better here?
